CX seems very particular who they let in F, I have flown about 5 or 6 times in F in the last year and I have seen a number of times people trying to ask for the upgrade and its a flat no. I am not certain but I got the feeling it is upgraders to business who then try to get into F. I always fly on paid business class so next week I will ask how to do this on a paid ticket
