I figure after enough cross border shoppers mention this, they'll eventually catch on.
They have years of experience doing this for us Albertans
They'll typically want your drivers license as proof of residence. Almost every store I've asked for the sales tax exemption at in Seattle just inputs your D/L info into the POS system; I've only had one occasion where I've actually needed to fill out a paper form.
