Same here. UA's domestic F to Hawaii was rather disappointing in many ways when I flew it recently. It's not awful, but those some long flights to have a standard domestic F seat and service.
I think the vast majority of the UA flights to the islands feature the domestic F seating (two class 777 & 763 & 757 aircraft). Every once in awhile they'll fly a 744 on the route (such as ORD-HNL) but this has happened very rarely in the past. Of course, CO is now flying 738/739 aircraft LAX/SNA-HNL/OGG and these feature the domestic F seating as well. Some posts have mentioned that UA "made" CO use 737s between the west coast and the islands but I kinda wonder about this.....any comments?
