Do AmEx offer "upgraded version" of AmEx Credit Cards to customers?

Hello folks,

I'm new here & I am pretty darn sure that there are different "credit limits" for different AmEx cards, but as of now, I have TrueEarnings Costco AmEx (personal) w/ Credit Limit of $24,000. From Jan 2010 to May 2010, I have spent around $36,000 and if I plan to keep it that way, it will be around $72,000 for the yearly spending..

I am just wondering if that there are better AmEx credit cards that would offer me better cash backs than what I am offered now and if there is one, should I apply for a 'better' AmEx credit card that would give me more cash backs OR if AmEx would just send out invitations for 'better' credit cards to qualified customers.

Thank you! ^
