I've posted a similar question in the UA forum, and, while not wanting to cross-post, I really want opinions from the AA board.

Short version: IAD based, can make 1K this year for the first time (by October), and I've been looking forward to it all year.

Now, with all of the changes and uncertainty afoot, am I better off putting all of my eggs in one basket and going for UA 1K, or should I diversify and go for mid-tier on two airlines (most likely PremEx on UA, and Plat on AA)?

Thoughts, comments & suggestions are greatly appreciated!
