GB: You really expected your bags to make it on that itin (double connection)? LHR-CDG-HKG-BKK.

I can't even get my bags to make it on an AMS-HEL non-stop.

I have to say that I am impressed with the way BA handled your bag situation in LHR.
I haven't had such luck. Once, while flying the Concorde they lost our bags and then when they found them in NYC they shipped them on UPS to our house in Florida. Unfortunately they didn't check to see that UPS was going on strike. We received our bags 8 days later.

On another BA situation last Christmas, our bags somehow missed their connection and didn't arrive with us in SFO. They had them "tracked" and told us that we would receive them the next day (Christmas Day) and they would deliver them to us immediately. They didn't. They ended up shipping them to us via Fedex two days later so that we received our bags on the last day of our ski vacation. Needless to say, we didn't even get to ski.
