Nobody sitting in exit row
It just recently happened to me: The two seats in the exit row on a Embraer 120 were empty. The FA didn't have nobody to give her spiel too and in the event of an emergency it is very possible that nobody would have been able to open that door (conceding that reading the instructions enables somebody to do so).
Is this a giant loophole in the FAA regulations ?
Can you imagine a situation where nobody is sitting in that row and the immediate neighbours are kids under 15, elder/disabled people ?
Shouldn't FA require that somebody sits there ?
