The Westin Princeville is an upscale timeshare property. Very nice for what it is but the nature of this kind of resort lends itself to self sufficiency and autonomy. Kitchens, laundry facilities, BBQ's, etc. Kind of like a condo but with some hotel amenities. This is the perfect venue for $$ conscious, families or larger groups and that is primarily who you'll find there.

If you are trying to make a trip to HI nice but keep down the costs, WPORV is your place. If money is no object, the St. Regis affords an elegant experience.

That said, Princeville is best known for exploring the many varied beaches and natural beauty. You may find yourself gone from what ever resort you choose for most of the day.
