The rest of the time 2 FA's hung out in the forward galley discussing upcoming retirement bash for one of them, and scarfing cheeseburgers from a paper bag. 1 1/2 hours into the flight, a pax across the aisle rang his call button to get a drink, and I took the opportunity to mention I'd take one too.

My 3rd flight that day was SLC-ANC. Took my seat in 3D, the FA took my drink order immediately, had a drink in my hand under a minute from boarding the plane. She was also very attentive, and for the entire flight, eye contact was all it ever took to get her attention.
