You and others say this all the time and I offer a different view. You are right I would never pay that, however I would then never be able to experience this any other way. Thus one gets to experience this luxury whereas it would never happen otherwise. It matters not that others don't accept that a price tag is attached to it as a metric, I accept it and embrace it as mine to evaluate value.^
The $ is used to assign value of what is enjoyed and in this case it is significant.
