Easier in what way? Traffic? What day of the week and what time of day? Are you going to buy enough to make a long drive, possibly with rush hour traffic, worthwhile? I've not been to the Camarillo mall. Cabazon is pretty good, and I've found decent deals, but not sure they were so much better than what I could find at in-town discount stores. Ontario Mills is not just an outlet mall. It has a few places, such as Penney's outlet, and some good shoe stores. Obviously easier to get to. Are you after "brand" names at lower cost (e.g., clothes made overseas like any other brand, but with the panache of a well-known name)? There is one outlet mall closer in, called the Citadel Outlet Mall, in the City of Commerce. I have not been. You can find Web sites such as http://www.fashiondistrict.org/ describing the downtown L.A. Fashion District, including "Santee Alley." I have not shopped there, but it might be an option for you, and closer to your hotel.
