What's it like Jenbel, the Ariel? Do you have IHG Status?

Thanks,

I've stayed there both with and without status. To be honest, I got a better room without status (even though it was on the inside, at least it was a double bed) than with status.

The rooms can be small (the other HI has much larger rooms), and its the first chain hotel I've encountered where a single can be a single, not a double for single occupancy. At the same time, it's clean, it's comfortable, the rooms are fine for me - i'm just little and it does have proper air con. The food is reasonable although overpriced, but there are other local options if you can be bothered. And for £35-40, it's a bargain. As a plat, I got some coupons for drinks etc.
