Have seen the Petronas Towers on flights from Langkawi and possibly Phuket & Bangkok.

Usually the aircraft turn around above the seaside town of Port Dickson before approaching KUL; the overwater villas are most probably Legend Water Chalets http://www.legendwaterchalets.com.my/ if you are refering to the ones near the power station.
