I submitted a request for status match, including a copy of my Delta Platinum card, on June 3. Previous info posted on FT indicated that a copy of the current card or a copy of the statement should be attached. Now, it appears that a copy of the card is not sufficient. (I wonder if they're trying to guard against people getting status on Delta with a match, not flying much, then matching back to CO for another year) I received this email today:

"Dear DavidinSaipan:

Thank you for contacting the OnePass Service Center.

We received your request for an Other Airline Match for Elite status and are pleased that you selected Continental Airlines as your airline of choice.

To complete the processing of your Elite status we need a copy of your current Delta elite statement. Please send an e-mail attachment* or mail the document along with your OnePass account number to:

Houston, TX 77210-4757

*The following file types may be included as attachments in your e-mail: doc, pdf, rtf, txt, xls, bmp, gif, jpg, jpeg, png, tif and tiff.
