The AAA breakfast and discount rates are standard AAA offers, as far as I'm aware. You shouldn't have any problems using the certificates with the AAA breakfast rate. I've used the certs w/ AAA breakfast rate at several hotels and have had no problems.
Still doesn't make sense though. Does that mean any and all promo rates that you can book at hyatt.com are excluded? For example, some hotels have their own (seasonable) promo rates, which one can book at hyatt.com, so it seems these shouldn't be excluded since definitely publicly available.
Also, I don't think the t&cs on these certs exclude promo rates?
