they only weigh a couple of pounds, and usually do not travel in dense flocks, so a commercial jet should be able to suck a few in, and never miss a beat. not that i know if it would suck them in. i recall test engineers at p&w throwing roasting chickens into engines and then examining them(the engines) for damage.
