So you're saying that corporate rates are excluded from using these certificates? I bought $1k of these certs from Hyatt about a year ago, way before they were available at Costco. I would have never purchased them if I knew that they weren't redeemable on my corporate rate.

There are also newer ones out that have a different set of T&C's that seem more restrictive. I'm talking about the original wording.

I had an incident when checking into a HP where the front desk person told me that they would not accept them for payment. This was astounding to me, since I had used them at the same location before, as well as many other domestic and international Hyatt locations.

They did take them "as a one time exception", but I was quite displeased to have to go through this as a Diamond member.
