Since it is the busy summer season, most Air Canada pilots are close to, if not already at their monthly maximum flying under their collective agreement... which means, they won't pick up much more flying if Jazz pilots strike.

- Jazz pilots fly over 800+ flights a day within North America, none of these flights are considered essential services, so if the strike occurs on June 13th, not one of the 125 Jazz aircraft will be flying.
Would you answer another question or two?

What do you mean that "Air Canada pilots are backing Jazz pilots by agreeing not to fly over their monthly maximums, and also to not accept any overtime"? Do you mean ALL Air Canada pilots? Has ACPA taken a position on this? I ask because while I have no idea what pay or working conditions for Jazz pilots are like, I have worked with a few AC pilots lately who so far don't have much sympathy for their Jazz counterparts in this dispute.

You seem to be saying that it has already been established that none of Jazz's flying will be considered essential service by whomever it is in government who makes that determination. Is that the case? If so, I'm surprised given that Jazz has no competition in some markets.

I also wonder if AC would have the option to cancel or renegotiate the Air Canada/Jazz CPA if Jazz were to shut down due to a strike.
