To answer a few questions:
- CMA and Air Georgian will not be affected with the Jazz pilot strike.
- The Air Canada/Jazz CPA is signed until year 2020.
- Air Canada pilots are backing Jazz pilots by agreeing to not fly over their monthly maximums, and also to not accept any overtime. Since it is the busy summer season, most Air Canada pilots are close to, if not already at their monthly maximum flying under their collective agreement... which means, they won't pick up much more flying if Jazz pilots strike.
- Jazz pilots fly over 800+ flights a day within North America, none of these flights are considered essential services, so if the strike occurs on June 13th, not one of the 125 Jazz aircraft will be flying.
