Really? Obtaining a commercial pilots licence costs 60,000+.
Jazz requries at least 3000 hours of flight time and may require turbine time, multi engine time, etc.
Obtaining these hours I think requires at least 4-5 years of work. At jobs that start at 16k and maybe as high as 35-40k.
So now you've invested 60k and 4-5 years of jobs that barely allow you to raise a family on the salary. Finally, Jazz hires you.
Oh joy, a starting salary of 36k!! After 2-3 years you'll earn a whopping 42k!
How about we import foreign pilots who will work for 25k a year no questions asked? That will show those "greedy" pilots! Sounds safe to me...
