QF has a relatively small FF program, but BAEC has a very large FF base, probably not as large as AA's, but quite considerable nonetheless. AFAIK, AA (and to a lesser extent MX) are the two partners which can be difficult to book online with ba.com. QF, LA, CX, KA, IB, etc. are all very easy. Compare with aa.com, where no other airline shows up in the AAward booking engine... I certainly like the AAward structure, but I'm still convinced that the lack of partners availability for online AAward booking is definitely a flaw, not a plus.
