I made the mistake of buying a ticket with AZ in W class in the outbound and R class in the inbound. R class doesn't earn any miles. My question is: even though it'll give me 0 miles, will it count towards the segment count? I never had this problem with a ST member, hence the question. Thanks!
My understanding is that if a flight doesn't earn miles, then it doesn't count as flight segment either. Poor you.
