1. AC canīt mistakenly pull a cert
2. SEs can call in at the 7 day window to upgrade an E on the same flight without actually having to use his own cert
3. there always is this tiny chance that the GA tells us to keep the cert
I've never liked the idea that SEs can sponsor Es with E certs at SE window. It defeats the purpose of the 7 days window in a way. Perhaps it's my solo travel style that influences my concerns as I'm sure I would have a different opinion if I had an E SO who would travel with me often.
