Flew on the first EDI-LGW of the day (v early) on Tuesday. Amazing LGW based crew. Was surprised as I thought it was EDI crew that did this normally but this may have changed (or were they on strike????). The purser and his team were a credit to BA.

Flew back LHR-EDI today at 15:25. First time ever from T5 since it opened. Looked a lot different to the last time I was in it when it was still being built.

Queued for about 2 minutes to bag drop and security (North I think) took about 2 minutes as well.

Had a wander about for a bit and a pint in the pub (no lounge access for me on BA) and was quite impressed.

Found my gate, got on board, got to EDI and then waited for what seemed like ages to get the bags off. Was probably because there were a huge number of pax waiting for bags so took longer to offload them. Couldn't have been a queue as there were no other pax at any of the reclaim belts.

Only reason I went with BA was because it was very cheap and they had availability at better times that easyJet did and BD had no availability at any price at sensible times. Might well consider BA more often in the future.

BA flight LHR-EDI was full as well.
