Lost me on that.... Even if the window was reduced to 24 hours, upgrades would most likely be triaged according to status of the requester and time of purchase. If what you meant was that if all inventory was reserved for sale, then you would have a better chance to purchase F, I guess it might be true, but with a 1-2 week window, you are still well in advance of the current 100 hr. EXP release.

I shudder to think about a first come first serve 24 hour window request policy. I can vividly recall the old days of setting the alarm to go off at exactly 72 hours plus 5 minutes so I could make my call, (or even go in person to the city desk when they had them) to request an upgrade - please let's not go back to that. (and yes, for the whipper snappers out there -at the time 72 hours was the max because there was no such thing as EXP).

Edited to add: Ahhhh...... maybe you are trying to upgrade with miles?
