The Marina would be a bit nicer as well since you can walk around and go to restaurants and shops outside of the hotel. The beach is there but many people also live in the area so all of the services that go along with that are there. There is not much around Mina A Salaam in walking distance so you would have to get a taxi if you wanted to do anything aside from be on the hotel grounds.

It really depends upon what you mean by central though as both hotels are quite far from the airport.
