Who are they trying to kid? After my last flight in First on AA between JFK-CDG, wild horses couldn't drag me onto another AA flight. And I paid full F!

The meals were downright depressing and miniscule portions. Caviar has gone and I can see the smoked salmon next. AA in First Flagship does not have any teas other than lipton, has no hot chocolate or cookies. So given the choice, I'd go on a European carrier thank you.

If comparing between US carriers, well I cannot judge there. But between European carriers and AA, I'd go for the European / Asian ones over ANY US carrier anytime.

Never mind the miles!

But are those European / Asian carriers making enough money to sustain their F/J service at its current levels in the long run ? I think AA is betting that they are not.
