This is a rare siting of the Southern Gentleman Lousus Erectus. Somewhat of a dandy, it tends to be solitary and does not travel in groups. It can stand erect for long periods of time, as much as 20 minutes before the aircraft it hopes to board has even landed on the tarmac.
It travels light, having only the one small under seat storage bag. It also appears to be hearing impaired as the gate agent made several announcements that First Class would board first. This particular specimen nested in 2C, stowing his bag under 1C, thus the confusion over why it needs to appear so early.
