What is proper etiquette for dealing with beggars in first class?
I have noticed a lot of coach pax coming up to use the FC lavs. On a LAX-ORD flight yesterday, the first officer was going back into the cockpit with one of those coach pax standing in line for the lav. He could have gone right in with the officer. And at other times during the flight the door was open with pax right there waiting for the lav.
During an ORD=SJC flight last week, one of the waiting coach pax asked the customer in the first row if they could have their clump of uneaten grapes. The guy looked stunned then said ok. What is the proper etiquette when asked a question like this?
I've always heard jokes about coach passengers on Air India allowed to come up to first to beg for food, but always thought it was a joke.
