I'm 35 minutes by jet from my nearest SC, and my SC-less home airport is so small that security is a non-issue. I'm trying to get my head 'round how SC could possibly be a good deal for someone who only flies enough to make FO, though... I guess maybe if it's all domestic or something? I probably just have messed-up perceptions, since going to visit my fiancée's folks is about 23,000+ miles round-trip.
