To this thread's point, if the GA offers a SDC for 50USD I've learned to take them up on the offer, and when asked for my credit card "accidentally" give them my PLAT card and ask again how much the fee is. If it's still 50USD I nicely ask them to double check that with somebody who knows for sure. If you're polite and brief, it is so hard for them to be an -- you know -- what you called them to start this thread.
