It was most likely United as they share counter space with CO. Sorry to hear of your issues, hopefully you will hear back from CO on this. I have been in and out of many small stations and agree that the crews manning the couters may have been dealing with other issues. I also second the fact that one should page the CO rep as the agent should call back and give you some true guidance on things.
