It's beyond unacceptable for the front desk to be unstaffed for 25 minutes. I'd report the problem to the GM and/or Hyatt corporate. If the front desk clerk had a legitimate reason, that can be sorted out among the parties. If not, it's by no means unfairly dinging the clerk.
