(I have run searches but not found a thread on this question. Apologies if I missed something, but I only saw comps of Westin v. Sheraton.)

I am staying in Princeville for nine nights on points (so room rate is not an issue). What are the pros/cons btw the St. Regis and the Westin?

The reviews for both of these resorts are great. My question is, how do the properties fare on issues like:
beach access, views?
no. of kid visitors/big families?
value (for food, services, etc)? i.e., is st. regis dining too costly?
seclusion/privacy?

I love that my suite option at the Westin includes a kitchen, but this is my last trip before having a baby and would like to have a really romantic, special trip. Any real downsides to the Westin or St. regis i should consider? Is the St. Regis so spectacular that I should book there?

Finally, is it worth relocating and splitting some time between the two to get the benefits of both and change up the scene?
