I see this comment frequently on airplane photo website where the posters sometimes talk about this... but I didn't believe it until it happened to me....

on a somewhat un-related note, my local Burger King has a big sign on the door that says no photography allowed inside.(not even cellphone camera)
Maybe BK is afraid people will see what the food really looks like.
