Good point. I hadn't looked for F Saver, but just did. It is a no-go on that one also.

All depends on where you fly. I tend to use my miles for only one thing, first class saver awards to Australia. They may be hard to get, but the retail value of the miles comes out to around 15 cents. Of course since I would never pay $25,000 dollars for a ticket, the value of the miles to me is considerably less. Call it 5 cents per mile. Still not bad.
I used to use my miles for trips to Australia back when I could walk into my local United ticket office and walk out with no hassle tickets in hand. Then I started using them exclusively for upgrading my TATL flights but those days are gone also. More recently I tried to use them to upgrade two full fare TK flights, but was denied on capacity grounds even though both flights went out half full up front. Seems like the miles are harder than ever to use now, but that may just be my experience since I don't live in the US and my options are thus somewhat limited.
