Good point. I hadn't looked for F Saver, but just did. It is a no-go on that one also.

I used to use my miles for trips to Australia back when I could walk into my local United ticket office and walk out with no hassle tickets in hand. Then I started using them exclusively for upgrading my TATL flights but those days are gone also. More recently I tried to use them to upgrade two full fare TK flights, but was denied on capacity grounds even though both flights went out half full up front. Seems like the miles are harder than ever to use now, but that may just be my experience since I don't live in the US and my options are thus somewhat limited.
