got suit upgrades at both properties. my run-rate is at 100% at both of these properties with my upgrades so far...

as for service, i would actually go on to say that LM BKK was actually superior to SGS this time round. This is mainly because the LM BKK is a lot more deserted than the SGS right now. SGS caters mainly to business travellers whilst the LM BKK targets the (fatter pocketed) tourists. There was hardly anyone at the LM BKK that it actually felt like i was the only visitor in the entire buliding. quite an experience really...

Each staff "Wai"s you everytime you walk by. I made a small request to the concierge desk while waiting for the SPA and I had 3 people crowd around to help me out. When my taxi was about to pull up at the hotel lobby the hotel traffic guard radio-ed the concierge desk to make sure that the doorman would run out to greet me when i alight from the cab. when i asked for a bucket of ice, i get it in 40 seconds.


little small things and gestures but they made a huge difference. LM BKK is (almost) my new fav property in BKK now (yes, above and beyond the SGS even). SGS was great, as always, but did not surprise me (esp with their much higher rate). WGS is a just an OK hotel in my opinion - no major issues but it's never pleasing to see hotel employees sending SMS on their cell phones in presence of the guests.
