Last night SJC to ORD, full cans. But, Monday AM, ORD to SJC, the flight attendant REFUSED a full can again. I took out the e-mail customer service sent me from AA and showed it to her. She still refused to give me an entire can. I told her I didn't want a glass. Finally, she gave in. Absolutely ridiculous. </font>
Just so I'm clear on this: You asked for a full can, she said "no." In the midst of her busiest time in-flight (trying to get drinks to an entire cabin ) you stop her, reach into your briefcase (or whatever), take out a letter from AA, present it to the FA, and insist that you get your can which, according to the company, is your God-given right?
No wonder FA's think we FF's are a collective bunch of whining pains-in-the-a**.
Drink your cup of soda, and if you want to pull out your official "AA says I deserve a full can of soda" letter, I'd suggest waiting until the service is finished, and walk back to the galley, and express your concerns more privately. Nobody wants to be told how to do their job in front of a room full of people; I'd guess FAs are no exception.
