I agree with rubbernyc. Business travel for me requires contract fare (usually with UA, rarely with AA) or a lower fare. Or I can pay the difference. I almost always do one of the latter two so I can fly AA, accumulate miles, and get upgraded. The other option for me is Alaska Air. Could care less about movies but food is somewhat important, since I often fly via DFW and have no time to buy food.

If upgrades and/or miles disappear, I would likely be forced to switch to UA - perish the thought.

One more thing - with very few exceptions, I find AA service, on the phone and in the air, to be very good to excellent. Perhaps exceeded only by AS.

One more thing - it takes effort to fly AA from SEA, with the limited number of flights and destinations. And now the SEA-DFW flights (at least one of them) will soon be "operated by TWA".
