For award flight changes that include over an hour change, I've had pretty good luck with NWA. Since about half the agents are from NWA, I'd assume you should have the same luck, and I also assume DL should be just as accommodating.

Don't put up with the asking for more miles and $$ BS, tell them it's a schedule change that they did and they should help you out. I can't see why they wouldn't.

When DL canned a HNL-MSP flight and rerouted me HNL-LAX-MSP, I asked for them to change to HNL-ATL-MSP so we could fly WBC - not to mention we got back sooner. Ex-NWA agents did it happily at NO CHARGE.
