Thanks again, everyone, for the help. It's not making my decision any easier, but I am learning so much from you all. So far, it looks like I should stay with DL, but I'm still open to being persuaded otherwise.

other than LAX where are you traveling to? The problem with being elite on AS and flying a lot of AA and DL metal is that you don't see a ton of benefits. as a DL GM and higher you can and do get upgraded on AS west coast flights.
Again, I don't fly all that much, but if/when I do it's usually to NYC, ATL, SLC, ICN and HNL. If/when I move to PDX, I'll probably fly to LAS instead of drive.
