For me the big drawback to DL out of PDX is they don't have a year-round nonstop to DTW, where my family lives. You do have nonstops to NRT, AMS, HNL, MSP, SLC, JFK, and ATL, so it's not too bad. There is no AA redeye from PDX, which makes short weekend trips tough.
There are not reciprocal upgrades currently in place... hopefully will change by August 12th... (most current date from MVPG lunch). Also the OP is FO, and its not clear if they would get upgrades on AS at this point or not...
