FWIW, the girl I talked to at CO “guaranteed” my flight would have lie-flats, but I’m not sure how she can say that, as I haven’t seen anything publicly stating that IAH-FRA would be guaranteed to have lie-flats like they did with LHR flights.
Contrary to popular opinion, the view isn't any better from a business class window than it is from coach.
Having just flown into Frankfurt, I can concur that the right side was a good view.
As far as flat beds, it's anyone's guess.
But don't be too sure about that 777 flight anyhow- it's been a 764 during winter for years, I think, as it is right now, and while it's planned to be a 777, only time will tell whether it stays that way through the off season.
