I'm considering using 26 Glacier Cruise for Prince William Sound or Kenai Fjords Tours for Kenai Fjords, although I'm certainly amenable to other suggestions with regard to the best operator/tour.
Well, since you said Day Trip, I would recommend Prince William Sound. I dont suggest Seward for day trips. Just too many chances for things to head south quickly with the road (closure due to accidents or rock slides, slow RVs, etc, etc).

PWS cruises emphasize glaciers, Kenai Fjords cruises emphasize marine wildlife. Both are excellent. I took 26 Glaciers before but when I do PWS again I will use a different company. I prefer quality vs. quantity. Spend time at a glacier to be able to see it calve, not show me 26 glaciers from a distance. I hope to use Sound Eco Adventures sometime in the not too distant future from Whittier.
