However, I would note that I earned full mileage for an AF L fare that connected to a Q fare, just last week. I started a thread about it, but nobody seems to have had a similar experience, so who knows what the outcome will be for you.

I did get lucky after all. The Q fare CDG-JFK is in my online statement, as is the AMS-CDG leg, with the notation Q/L as "class of service paid". I won't complain.
