The SkyTrain is a wonderful bag. However, I use a smaller RedOxx bag, the Sun Chaser for a carry on bag as I need a checked bag to haul my work stuff.
I took a look at those bags (again as I forgot), and yeah those are beautiful. If I was a frequent flyer hop skipping and jumping to locations for sure I would be owning a Red Oxx product (probably the Skytrain )

I am very happy to see myself using less luggage, and well now smaller luggage, for my vacations. It's nice to know that you were once was like me. I was starting to think that people cannot change lol Or were naturally like this lol

Even though my company doesn't pay overweight fees for checked bags, I still have to haul along some of what we need for show displays, tools etc. I just pre-shipped a box of booth materials which helps a great deal.

Live and learn (and I've learned a great deal on FT.)
As have I, everywhere. Just like at Howardforums, without this place I would be lost and dumb as a brick
