Right now, REI is having a 20% off sale, so that helps with the cost concern. I've had one now for two years and despite multiple trips as checked luggage, it has yet to show wear. I do carry-on only luggage for business travel. But, for family vacation travel where my wife and kids check bags and I end up doing the same, the TNF Base Camp Duffel has become my default luggage for large loads.
