Well, check in time is 3PM so I guess they were running a bit late but they made up for it by extending the diamond benefits for all 3 rooms which is generous of them in my opinion as they rectified the problem immediately.

Perhaps you could have said you'd prefer points (5k?) instead of the diamond benefit for all 3 rooms but I'm sure your friends appreciated the amenity.
