Considering burning 320k points for a C class 50k award. When I've redeemed these prev with AAdv, AA does not allow routing changes once travel commences -- only day/time changes to existing city pairs can change. Can anyone confirm from direct experience that EC allows for routing changes even after travel has started?? The rules online seem to indicate routing changes on any mileage award are allowed so long as the new routing is within the award description, but I know that sometimes these multl carrier awards are treated a bit diff'tly.
