Frank Lorenzo on CNBC

Did anyone happen to see Frank Lorenzo on CNBC today. He was there to comment on the upcomiing merger. He actually though it was a good idea but thought they should keep the Continental name, which I agree with

They said that Frank was a pioneer in his handling of the unions. He started the negotiations that led to lower wages and benefits which was necessary due to deregulation

He also merged many carriers including Eastern, PBA, People's Express and NY Air.

Continental Express which he started was a good brand until it was sold. The pilots and flight attendants really cared about Continental, unlike Colgan

They started flying Cessnas into EWR from New Haven in the 80's and did quite well.

I wonder if Frank still has his lifetime first class pass
